Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival

The Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival is the largest festival on the Treasure Coast and one of the few remaining true street festivals in South Florida in the street of historic downtown Jensen Beach, Florida   (Jensen Beach Boulevard, Ricou Terrace, and Maple Avenue). The Bahamian Marketplace will offer tasty Bahamian delicacies like fresh fruit daiquiris and conch fritters, plus the music of live island bands. Don’t forget to buy a handmade straw craft and souvenir from the Bahamas, or get your hair braided before you leave the Festival.

One of the most colorful, exciting, and favorite attractions of the Jensen Beach Pineapple Festivals is the authentic Bahamian Marketplace from the Bahamian Island of   Eleuthera and the heart pounding rush of Junkanoo, a Caribbean celebration two centuries old in which performers dress in colorful impressive costumes that are artistically created of paper and depicting a particular theme.

A unique variety entertainer, Wade Henry brings unusual abilities to streets of Jensen Beach during Pineapple Festival weekend. Juggling, unicycling, ropewalking, fire-eating and audience participation are what Wade does – and does well!
