In early 2000, Marlene Gordon and Beth Novins decided to go into business together. New to the area, they quickly fell in love with Downtown Stuart and started their Café crusade as a tiny coffee shop which was originally located a couple of doors down from their present pose. With a large leap of faith and a huge amount of dedication, Marlene and Beth moved out and over to a larger location and since café that compliments our area with “Good food, good service, and ‘Like Home’ comfort.” That comfort is one that many locals enjoy on a daily basis. Many of Osceola Street Café’s customers are regulars. Few venues are unique enough to have the relationship that exists at Osceola Street Café. It’s made up of not just customers, but a community.
Josh Brown started his culinary career as a chef at Florida Culinary Institute in Palm Beach. Josh continued his training and gained valuable experience at the highly acclaimed Rottie's restaurant in Jensen Beach. His biggest and most important task at Osceola Street Café is working along side the owners, Beth and Marlene, to create new Dinner Menus on a quarterly / seasonal basis. His expertise has helped to develop a menu of casual elegance and flavorful excellence.
