The 30 one-bedroom suites are situated in private thatched bungalows, and though all of them are identical, Susan Belanski (who has worked at the resort for the past six years) says, "For some reason, people who come back want to stay in the exact same room." It's the romantic-bonding thing.

In-season rates (and this month is definitely season) are $545 per couple per night. Add $95 per person for the two-meal plan or $115 per person for the three meal plan. Dinner is a five-course affair, and if you total up what you get (cold appetizers range from $8.50 to $22.50, hot appetizers from $10 to $14), soup ($6.00 to $8.00), entrée ($25.50 to $35.50) with vegetable ($5.00 to $6.50), and dessert ($7.50 to $12.00, for the ultimate chocolate soufflé), even the three-meal plan could turn out to be less than you'd spend if you just dropped in for dinner.
